25-Hydroxycholecalciferol antibody
The 25H-Hydroxycholecalciferol antibody, 25-OH-VD3 mouse monoclonal antibody to be used in detecting Vitamin D levels in human serum by ELISA, CLIA, or LFIA
Details
The concentration of 1,25(OH) VD3 is just 1×10-7 mmol/L, and its half-life is 12 to 15 hours. 25-OH-VD3 is the primary form of VD3 in the bloodstream. Its concentration is 40-90 mmol/L with a half-life of 2 to 3 weeks.25-OH-VD3 can be catalyzed into 1,25-(OH) VD3 whose biological activity is higher with the help of hydroxylase in renal tubule cells. Measuring its concentration is vital in clinical diagnostics to evaluate the level of vitamin D considering the higher concentration and better stability of 25-OH-VD3. Vitamin d3 antibody is of importance in many fields. Recent research efforts have shown that Vitamin D levels affect various disease states and are linked with numerous well-being indicators in humans. These include bone diseases such as osteoporosis and arthritis, but also other diseases including hypertension, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease, to name a few.
