The Sekbio Chicken Anti-Protein A Antibody (IgY) is an affinity-purified polyclonal antibody raised in chicken against Staphylococcal Protein A. As a chicken IgY antibody, it does not bind to mammalian Fc receptors and is not recognized by Protein A or Protein G — making it uniquely suited for applications where interference from mammalian IgG or Protein A interactions must be eliminated.

Chicken IgY does not bind Staphylococcal Protein A or Streptococcal Protein G — enabling use in systems where these ligands are present without false signal from secondary antibody capture.
IgY lacks affinity for mammalian Fc receptors. In tissue immunostaining and cell-based assays, background from non-specific Fc binding is eliminated — improving signal-to-noise in complex matrices.
